or genius –
Some days I want to mark the page
simply for the aesthetic of words.
I have an avarice for beauty, for
colours, shapes
and form
and for that which pleases the eye.
Avarice is a nice word huh? Also the sthe sound in aesthetic is great. really pleasing. In my top 5 aural letter combinations. Not quite as good as alk as in chalk. Actually chalk is probably my favourite word.
ReplyDeleteHmm.. is it used in the right context though?? Or should it be 'avariciousness'? I'm still getting my head around this word but it is a very lovely one.
